The central government has become cautious in view of increasing cases of corona virus in Delhi. The Union Home Ministry has prepared a plan to deal with Corona in Delhi. Under this, the Home Ministry has formed 10 teams. These teams will visit 100 private hospitals.
Puducherry Reports No COVID-19 Deaths For 5th Consecutive Day
No fresh coronavirus related deaths were reported in Puducherry for the fifth consecutive day on Wednesday. However, 56 new infections were recorded, taking the total number of those infected by the virus to 36,465 in the union territory. Director of Health and Family Welfare S Mohan Kumar said in a release that the new cases were identified at the end of the examination of 3,583 samples in the last 24 hours ending at 10 am on Wednesday.
32 Per Cent Jump In One-Day Cases, India Covid Tally Past 89 Lakh
With a 32 per cent one-day jump in the number of new coronavirus infections, India recorded 38,617 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, government data shows. India also saw 474 Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking its overall fatalities to 1,30,993. So far, the country has recorded a total of 89.12 Covid cases so far since the January outbreak.
17 New COVID-19 Cases In Andaman & Nicobar Islands; Tally Rises To 4,574
Seventeen more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, pushing the union territory''s coronavirus caseload to 4,574, a health official said on Wednesday.
Telangana News: Telangana recorded 948 fresh coronavirus cases and five new deaths until 8 pm on Tuesday taking the cumulative number of cases to 2,59,776 and the death toll to 1,415. The recovery cases went up to 2,45,293 with the recovery of 1,607 persons in the last 24 hours. Read Full Story
