Akshara Movie Review & Rating {3/5}

Akshara caught the attention of the audiences with its promising premise and teasers. Starring Nandita Shweta in the titular role, this movie is directed by Chinni Krishna. Akshara released across the Telugu states today and here is the review of it.

Story:

Akshara (Nandita) joins as a lecturer in one of the prestigious education institutions named Vidhya Vidhaan. These institutions are run by crooked businessman Sanjay Bhargav (Sanjay Swaroop), who only wants ranks from his students and will go to any extent to pressurize students regarding the same. Meanwhile, Akshara's colleague Sri Teja (Sri Teja) starts loving her and proposes as well. On the flip side, Akshara has a secret connection with Sanjay. What is that connection? Will she accept Teja's proposal? forms the main crux of the story.

Performances:

Nandita Swetha breathes life into her character. She has given her best in his performance in the film. Shakalaka Shankar delivered an honest performance. The way he has portrayed his character is really good. Ajay Ghosh performed really well. He breathes life into his character. Satya is good in his role. Madhunandan's screen presence is really impressive. Harsha Vardhan justified his role really well. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

The way director B. Chinni Krishna has taken an interesting line, laced a simple story around it is really good and he has succeeded in handling some sensitive issues and generated comedy. His pace of narration is also good and will make the audience stick to the chairs. Production values by Alluri Suresh Varma under Cinema Hall Entertainments are lavish. Music by Suresh Bobbili is outstanding. His background score lifted up each and every scene of the film. Cinematography by Nagesh Banell is beautiful to watch. Editing by Giduturi Satya is neat.

Verdict:

Education mafia is very much prevalent in our country but very few films have tried to showcase the topic. Akshara belongs to that rare category. The core plot is very good and gives a strong message to the public. The director was successful in conveying the message but the screenplay could have been handled in a better way. The scenes seem to be routine and deviate us midway through the film. Apart from that, there are no major flaws in the movie. On the whole, Akshara is a sincere attempt and can be watched once.
