Colour Photo Movie Review: Suhas who played the side characters in the films Majili, Dear Comrade, Padi Padi Leche Manasu, and a few more have now played the solo lead in the film Colour Photo. Chandini Chowdary is the heroine. Sunil played the villain. The film released on Aha yesterday. The review of the movie is here!

Story:

Jaya Krishna (Suhas), is a humble and hardworking Engineering student. He falls for his college mate Deepthi (Chandini Chowdary). He feels inferior because of his color. But, one day, Deepthi proposes her love for Jaya Krishna. Deepthi's brother Rama Raju (Sunil) comes across the same and objects to it, citing that Jaya Krishna's color being black is the problem. What happens then? Forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

Suhas played a comic role in the film and he has entertained everyone with good comedy timing. His dialogue delivery is impressive and he played well in the emotional scenes as well. The chemistry with the leading lady Chandini Chowdary also came out well. Chandini looked natural and beautiful in the movie. Her screen presence is appealing. Her performance in the climax sequence is a major asset for the movie. Sunil played a negative role and he did his best. Viva Harsha is impressive with his comedy timing. Sri Vidya, Diva Sripada, and others too impressed with their performances.

Technical Aspects:

Kaala Bhairava's music is a major asset for the movie. The songs are pleasant and the background score is impressive too. The cinematography is excellent. The visuals are appealing. The editing is good. Some scenes would need chopping for a smooth and better runtime. The artwork and production design need a special shoutout. The dialogues are impressive. The technical team did their best in coming up with a good output.

Verdict:

Sai Rajesh Neelam is the story writer of the movie. He penned an interesting love story with a routine conflict. The film goes well with a section of audiences because of too many predictable things that it offers. The first half of the movie is pretty slow. The conflict gets introduced very late and keeps the audience waiting. The screenplay could have been better. The narration is slow. Some love scenes are written well but some did not leave an impact. The comedy track involving Viva Harsha worked well. The lead pair performances will be a huge plus point for the movie. There is enough drama in the plot but in the second half, it became melodrama. All in all, Colour Photo is a film that is good in parts.
