Analysis

One of the biggest assets of the film is the basic entertainment quotient. It has been quite some time since we have seen such a clean comedy which everyone can watch with their families. ‘F3’ is filled with good entertainment which is unleashed at regular intervals. Venkatesh was hilarious in ‘F2’ and he goes a notch higher in ‘F3’. His comedy timing is top-notch and the manner in which he lets go of his star image and becomes a character and evokes comedy is superb. He as the man with night blindness delivers his best. Varun Tej, as the stammering youngster creates superb chemistry with Venkatesh. After a long time, Sunil gets a meatier role and he also evokes good laughs.

Right from the day the film was launched, the makers have stressed the fact that there will be no logic and entertainment will be the main focus. From the first scene onwards, logic goes for a toss and there are so many issues in the script as scenes are written conveniently.

The first fifteen minutes of the film is quite slow as nothing happens during this time. The way Murali Sharma and how he is looking for his lost son is brought in a sudden manner. These scenes do not sink in the film. ‘F3’ is a film that will not go well with a section of the class audience as they can find the scenes and situations quite silly to digest. They will find the comedy over the top and loud.

‘F3’ is over the top entertainer, just like its first part ‘F2’. The film has best comedy blocks and hilariously entertaining sequences at regular intervals throughout the run time. It is Anil Ravipudi’s show with a complete entertainment once again.

Performances

The first and foremost appreciation goes to the lead actors Venkatesh and Varun Tej for delivering the best performances by taking a challenge of exposing the defects of Night Blindness and Stammering respectively. Venkatesh, being the senior actor took the responsibilities of leading the entire gang with his exceptional comedy timing and expressions in the major portions of the film. While Venkatesh is the show stealer, Varun Tej stood equally strong with Venkatesh and delivered an appreciable performance.

Tamannaah and Mehreen are very gorgeous as they are always. They perfectly serve their respective characters carry forwarded from the first part. Sonal Chauhan joins the show by adding her beauty on screen. Sunil is back with his vintage presence and performance in the film. It is so good to see Sunil shining with his comedy timing and expressions on screen after a very long time. Ali has provided many laughs in his entire track. Pooja Hegde looks very charming in the special party song. The performances of all other key cast including Rajendra Prasad, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Annapoorna, Vijaya, Pragathi, Jhansi and others are good.

Technicalities

The writer and director, Anil Ravipudi sets his audience in his story world right at the very beginning of the film, as he always does with his every film. Murali Sharma character explaining about the fun and frustration caused by money at the beginning itself sets the mood of the film. Anil’s strength in comedy worked out throughout the film once again. The director’s message about hard work and money at the end of the film is a great sign in terms of writing.

Devi Sri Prasad gives another blockbuster album with this film. The appreciable thing here is all the songs are placed perfectly with the flow of the film. They are situational and apt. The production values of the film needs a special mention.
