Performances:
Kartikeya Gummakonda is truly an asset for this film. The actor has not only delivered his career-best performance in the film but also will leave an impact on the audience with his character. Everyone can easily connect with his role and we can say that the credit goes to his performance in the film. It is evident that he also worked really hard for this movie. Especially, in the action sequences, he has done his best. Anagha is a delight to watch. Her chemistry with Karthikeya also worked out really well. Adithya Menon's stunning performance can be considered as a plus point for this film. Despite getting a challenging role, Adithya Menon breathes life into his character. Jabardasth Mahesh is good in his role.
Technical Aspects:
Director Arjun Jandhyala has prepared an average storyline and laced it with comedy and romantic scenes which will test the patience of the audience. We can say that the director has narrated and handled the story in a decent way. Though there are some visible flaws in his taking, Arjun Jandhyala will impress with his pace of the narration. Production values by Anil Kadiyala and Tirumal Reddy are very rich. Music by Chaitan Bharadwaj is the backbone of the film. Not only a couple of songs but Chaitan Bharadwaj has scored pleasant music for the movie as well. Especially, his energetic music in the action sequences is good. Cinematographer Raam did a good job and has produced some beautiful visuals for the film. Editing by Tammiraju is clean.
Verdict:
The movie doesn't have a proper story which will be the biggest minus point of this film. Also, the director has failed to engage the audience with the story. The story doesn't have anything special and the same routine commercial formula with some action sequences comedy and romantic scenes might irk the audience. Also, some of the scenes in the second half are extremely boring and especially the scenes before the pre-climax will test the patience of the audience. However, the climax and pre-climax are handled well. The actors did a decent job and music is good. Only action lovers can get impressed with the action sequences in the film. To conclude, 'Guna 369' is an average movie which can be watched once.
