Analysis

The story of 'Narayana and Co' movie is about the little things that a family does together to get out of unexpected financial problems. That's why the film has been given the tag line 'The Thikkal Family'. The story goes accordingly. But some scenes here and there seem like seen elsewhere.

The story begins with the introduction of the Narayan family characters. After that, the lead pair meets in a pub. However, the reason for the heroine falling in love with the hero did not seem convincing. But the comedy scenes are entertaining. And the second half is a bit routine. Placement of songs is not correct. On a whole, 'Narayana and Co' succeeded in making the audience laugh.

Performances

Sudhakar did justice to the role of Anand. His dance moves will entertain audience. Jaikrishna impressed with his performance as hero's younger brother Subhash. What's new in this movie is that Devi Prasad and Amani are playing completely comedy roles. Some comedy scenes by Devi Prasad as Narayana and Aami as Janaki are entertaining. Both of them got more screen space in the movie. Ali Reza as Arjun and Aarthi as Preeti have acted well. But the length of their roles is very short. Saptagiri comedy did not worked out. Pooja Kiran, Thotapalli Madhu and the rest of the actors acted within the scope of their roles.

Technicalities

Director Chinna Papishetti chose an out and out entertainer and he gets successful in delivering comedy with his script and dialogues. Though, there were some repetitive scenes, he managed to make audience sit through out the film.

Coming to other technical aspects, the music of Suresh Bobbili, Dr. Josyabhatla, Nagavanshi and Josyabhatla Sharma is fine. Songs and music are a plus for the movie. Cinematography by Rahul Srivastav is good. The editor needs to give his scissors more work. Especially some scenes in the second half should be cut more crisply. The production values for this medium budget film are fair enough.
