Pathaan Review: Shah Rukh Is Back With A Bang Being High On Action

Shah Rukh Khan… This ace actor needs no introduction! Be it love tales, action movies or thrillers, his amazing screen presence is enough for the audience to enjoy the movie. But for last four years, he is away from the big screens and thus, the expectations reached a notch higher. On the other hand, as it is Siddharth Anand's directorial and that too being made with a lavish budget, the movie got enough hype.

Story:

As shown in the trailer John Abraham aka Jim warns the Indian government that he is going to create a massacre. But as Dimple Kapadia and her team trust their best RAW agent Pathaan, they assign this task to him. Going with the actual reason behind Jim's mission, Pakistan general Qadir (Manish Wadhwa) who is angered by Article 370 revoke decides to take revenge. He assigns a contract to Jim and thus he wants India to pay for that 'so-called mistake' by spreading the Raktbeej virus all over the country. In between Deepika Padukone who is essaying the role of Pakistan's ISI agent connects with Shah Rukh with a motive. So, we need to watch the movie to know how Pathaan will save his country from the deadly virus…

Performances:

One thing to remember that, Shah Rukh need not prove anything new on the big screen and thus 'Pathaan' role perfectly suits him and he attacks the antagonists with a plan. In order to take revenge on India, John Abraham aka Jim comes up with a plan and tries to spread a deadly virus all over the country. His flashback and connection with Pakistani General reveal the real motive. Coming to Deepika Padukone, she not only turns heads with her glamour but also looks terrific in the action sequences being an ISI agent.

Conclusion:

Pathaan is a complete action thriller holding the right portions of action, humour and thrill! Although the story seems interesting, SRK's presence makes it a perfect one to watch!
