Performances:
Satyadev has given his career's best performance in the film Satyadev, although, tried to imitate Fahadh Faasil, he has given his best for the film. His innocence and simplicity in the character make the audiences fall in love with him. The leading ladies are the newcomers in the film and they did their best. Senior hero Naresh, Suhas, TNR, and other actors make their presence felt. There are a lot of new actors on the screen.
Technical Aspects:
The camera work of the movie is impressive. The village backdrop has been showcased nicely and the locations of Araku are also presented in an interesting manner. The music of the film is just good. The background score of the movie is perfect for the emotional and action scenes. The story is good and the screenplay is engaging. The direction is dull. Like how he brought out the best from his actors in his debut film, it did not happen in the film.
Verdict:
The director must be appreciated for making the necessary changes to the film, to make the story suit the nativity of Telugu audiences. The film has Araku as a backdrop. The dialogues in the story are very good and provoke thought. The realistic way of making the movie is good. The first half of the movie does not reveal the conflict but tries to introduce the characters, the backdrop, and the world of Uma Maheshwar. The pace of the film is slow and the second half also becomes dull, until he decides to fall in love with the second heroine. The film appears to be slow but does not give you the feels of boredom, which is a saving grace. The runtime could have been altered. The interesting first half and a slow second half make the film worth a watch. On the whole, the movie is an impressive revenge drama that is simple and sweet.
