CAB is against Assam's culture

Update: 2019-12-12 02:04 IST

The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill proposes to grant citizenship to Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains and Buddhists who fled to India facing religious persecution in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, but it does not include Muslim minorities from these countries such as Ahmadiyas and Shiyas on the same ground.

The CAB, even if it allows citizenship to people from all religions, it can cause a grave threat to the culture practised in Assam.
