Congratulations West Indies!

The second match of the 12th edition of the mega tournament finished in just 240 minutes because none of the Pakistan batsmen performed well. Pakistan were bundled out for their second-lowest World Cup total.

Pakistan managed to reach 105/10 in 21.4 overs. Chasing a meager victory target of 106 proved a cakewalk for West Indies and they cruised to seven-wicket victory in just 13.4 overs.

Thanks to Chris Gayle's excellent half century. The Pakistan team showcased a below par batting and a splendid bowling by the opponents - Thomas (4 wickets), skipper Holder (3 wickets) ended Pakistan innings even before they could play 25 overs overs.

Pakistani batsmen struggle to play the short balls and they do have no answer for balls bowled by Thomas. The task of chasing 106 runs was made far easier for West Indies because of Chris Gayle.

The opener was well supported by Nicholas Pooran with a productive 34 not out. Congratulations West Indies and best of luck.
