Examination Boards are under cloud
The suicides of Intermediate students in Telangana is very unfortunate. Similarly the other Boards are also found erratic many a number of times.
The 2B paper of Mathematics set by Andhra Pradesh board this year was also felt tough by many students and as a result a large number of students have failed in Andhra Pradesh also.
When the students have applied for re verification the status shows online that the results of re verification will be published only by the end of the May 2019 which is of no use as the students have to appear for advance supplementary examinations in the second week of May.
Hence, we request the Board authorities to announce the result at an early date.
The re- verification fee for Andhra Pradesh Intermediate board is very high as Rs.1300, compared with the Boards of other states.
We request the chief minister and education minister of AP to look in to this matter and do the needful to announce the result early. we also request the government of AP to announce 5 grace marks to the failed students as the question paper was tough.
Even the CBSE board is also adding score for some of the subjects this year as the questions were given from the topic which are out of syllabus.
The boards should take extra care while designing the question papers and during the valuation of answer scripts as these things are directly connected with the lives of the innocent children.
