The protracted dialogues and debates amongst the Government and the opposition parties in procurement of the Rafale Aircrafts from France Dassault, has not only explicit the Military secrecy in public, also it has caused an inordinate delay in acquiring the Aircraft which is an indispensable requirement of the hour for the Indian Air force to strengthen its Airpower.

Many experts have already expressed their concerns over the usage of 2nd generation MIG 21 Aircraft during the recent Air Strike, undertaken by the Indian Air force post Pulwama incident. Considering the importance of the security and Intelligence of the country, researching the defence procurement procedure through the Right to Information act may be side lined and any irregularities in the procurement procedure is to be weeded out at the earliest and the Government has to come up with a clean chit in the Rafale deal.
