Jaganmohan Reddy means well
At a time when some CMs of non- BJP states are interested only in locking horns with the centre rather than concentrating on good governance in their respective states the bonhomie seen between Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, the new CM of Andhra Pradesh and PM Modi is something worth notable. The two belong to different parties having very different ideologies and principles on their own but sidelining all differences both the leaders have respect for each other and a good mutual understanding is seen between them.
Even though YSRC is not even part of the NDA the way in which Jagan went to meet Modi immediately after the election results and his request to help his state is commendable. Modi was also given a warm reception by Jaganmohan during his Tirumala visit recently.
Whether Jagan's party will be part of NDA is a matter left to time to answer but what really matters is the way in which the Chief of a state is ready to shake hands with the centre having in mind only growth, welfare ,progress, development and prosperity of the people and the state. It is here that Jagan turns a model CM to be emulated.
