KCR should intervene in the results scam

The present imbroglio in the Intermediate results announcement is certainly shocking to the young students more so for their parents too. The non-opening of the official website for re-counting and revaluation are also factors that are keeping the students agitated.

It is high time that KCR talks to the agitated parents and students at least through a personal hearing or media informing the correct position of the disputed results along with the steps taken to rectify discrepancies if any, and reassure the students that their future will certainly be taken care of immediately by taking corrective steps. Whoever may have committed the mistake the students cannot be forced to pay the price as already 12 students have committed suicides.

This is not an issue that has to go through bureaucracy levels just like any other file but immediate attention should be paid on a war footing to re-announce the results especially of disputed cases within next 24 hours. I do not also understand as to why a help desk enquiry counter with computer cannot be put to function in the Board of Intermediate education office when the official website is not opening at other places.

Afterall it is the duty of the board to inform the students correctly instead of making them run from computer to computer. The punishment to the erring agency and the officials is a second issue but prima-facie the effected students future should be immediately rectified and informed to them so as to avert any future unpleasant situations from the students.
