Lives are as important as livelihood

First the economy must be revived but lives are as important as livelihood. Here are a few suggestions.

1. Migrants are the backbone of infrastructure and construction sector has been hit very hard in this crisis. The migrant labourers must be given Rs 5,000 per family for a period of 3months.

2. Until a vaccine is ready shut down primary schools, malls, gyms, bars & pubs, swimming pools, temples, mosques and churches.

3. Issue a order that employers and shop owners should endure that their employees/customers are maintaining social distance otherwise they should be penalised.

4. Focus on un-organised sector people. FM had announced packages for the people but should also ensure the the banks grant loans without any difficulties.

5. Provide tax exemptions for the manufacturing sectors.

6. Establish a committee consisting of experts from outside the government.

7. Address the problems on the demand side supply side will automatically be settled

8. Reduce the GST rates on FMCG products.
