Arms cartels a grave threat to peace
The dastardly attack on people in a concert hall of Moscow is a direct and blatant challenge to the entire world by the terrorist outfit ISIS. This outfit openly provoked Putin, the Russian President, who might consider intensifying the attack on Ukraine and make his threat of “converting the ongoing war into the third world war” a reality. The violent activities of Islamic State terrorists are a big cause for concern as world peace is threatened by it. As long as the USA continues to meddle with matters in the world at the behest of the arms cartel, I think the tensions between several countries leading to violent attacks and wars won’t stop with the arms cartel alone being the beneficiary.

‘Razakaar’ movie blatantly distorts history
‘Razaakar’ movie is another propaganda movie produced by the Sangh Parivar. It is on the lines of the films like ‘Kashmiri Files’ and ‘Kerala story’. In this movie, an impression is created that the Telangana Armed Struggle was a liberation battle of Hindus against Muslim oppression. It is infact a struggle against feudalism headed by Nizam, supported by Hindu landlords and some Muslim jagirdars. It was a struggle for merger into the Indian Union. It was a fight for land and independence. The film showed SardarVallabh Bhai Patel as the hero who supported Hindus and was against Muslims, which is a blatant lie, whereas Patel was one among the remaining leaders who were for the merger of Hyderabad into India. In fact, many Muslims took part in and led the long relentless armed struggle against Nizam for years, which finally culminated in his surrender to the Indian Government on September 17, 1948.

Focussing inwardly benefits a lot
Referring to the question in his article ‘ Does GOD test humans?’, my answer for it is YES. All living beings daily boot up their mind to know what to do, where to go, how to do, when to do etc. It is not only the humans but all the living animals, birds, amphibians, plants and trees have that thinking power. Humans have an extraordinary power to communicate, explore, innovate, discover etc. A majority are thus able to render their work, duties, jobs etc only because they are able to focus inwardly. However many misuse and misdirect their capacity to harm as many as possible. Let all noble minds humans detect harmful innovations and discoveries to inhibit and prohibit their applications.

Congress must focus on issues, not Modi
It refers to “Cong to blame if India sees political autocracy.” Prime Minister Modi has all the right to aim for 400-plus seats and gave a slogan accordingly. Ultimately it is up to us, the voters, how much BJP or INDIA ends up with on 4th June. BJP is reaching out to and taking parties under their umbrella to make the NDA alliance bigger and ensure that its aim to cross 400 is achieved without any hurdle. As far as Congress-Mukt Bharat is concerned, that may not be the case because in states where Congress and BJP have direct two-way contest, Congress would still be relevant and continue to rule a few states. But having said that, there are many flaws in Congress and Rahul Gandhi’s strategies as they fail to read the writing on the wall and continue to engage in Modi bashing left, right and center, while voters want them to engage in other issues which are linked with their ambitions.

The BJP, a battle hardened party, has come up with two spectacular slogans. One is Abkibaar 400 paar, and the other is Viksit Bharat. Why is the saffron party moving heaven and earth to win more LS seats in South? Because, it is facing severe backlash in the BIMARU states, which was the bastion of BJP till yesterday. The narrative that BJP is the defender of Hindu majority has been washed away by the flood of bread and butter issues such as 45%unemployment, inflation, growing income disparities, farmers’ MSP crisis, lack of quality healthcare and education, social conflicts due to majoritarian agenda, and increasing persecution of minorities in BJP-ruled states. I.N.D.I.A block is steadily consolidating its position in each state and is ready to take on the NDA.

It appears there is a political power play unleashed by BJP as the elections are nearing. Major opposition players are being arrested. K Kavitha, MLC, and Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi CM, are held in Delhi Excise Policy case. In Kolkatta, MahuaMoitra is arrested at the behest of a illusory Lokpal. Kerala government is frustrated by Governor, as the agent of the Centre, that prompted Kerala to file case in Supreme Court against President and Governor, for keeping four bills pending for indefinite time. God save the nation!
