Oppn remarks unfortunate
Senior SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav's unwarranted and uncalled for remarks on CRPF attack by Pakistan-trained terrorists in J&K in which more than 40 lost their lives by saying it was a conspiracy hatched by the Centre to polarise voters is not only bad in taste but triggered a needless row.
As the remarks were made during his campaign, it is obvious that it was only aimed to build vote banks ahead of crucial elections. It is extremely unfortunate that such insidious comments by politicians meant to brainwash the minds of people with lies and falsehood only harms the interest of the nation.
Not leaving at that, the SP leader going on to add that a probe will be ordered after a new government comes into place is nothing short of an insult to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for security and protection of the country.
As such incongruous remarks spells danger to the country, it will only help Pakistan to plan and mount more such attacks at sensitive places across the country with impunity if such politicians having no qualms continue to indulge in insensitive comments for the sake of votes.
Thus, it is clear that Ram Gopal Yadav is not only unfit to be a peoples' representative but should be arrested for his remarks which are detrimental to the interest and security of the nation in the first place.
