Punish Christchurch attacker severely

The deadliest terrorist attack by an Australian in two mosques in New Zealand's Christchurch when Muslims were offering Friday prayers that has killed 49 people and wounded several others should be condemned. (Massacre in mosques, THI, March 16). My heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved family members of the martyred people.

People who believe in peace and loves humanity irrespective of caste, colour or creed must condemn the inhuman act of the terrorist, since no religion preaches either hatred against the people of other faiths or to kill. It is unfortunate that such a worst terror attack took place in a country like New Zealand where people belong to other parts of the world prefer to become as their citizens because of its healthy environment and peace-loving people.

The video that goes viral on the social media must be removed instantly. The New Zealand government, while ensuring the safety of the entire migrated people, should not let the shooter go scot free and he should be punished severely as per the law of their land.
