Rahul ignored Amethi

It was obvious that Smriti Irani would win against Rahul Gandhi as Irani visited Amethi several times each year and grounded some popular schemes there of course with the backing of central govt in which she was a minister.

Rahul was missing and did not use his constituency funds fully there. As the people of this country are becoming more and more demanding, vigilant with education, formal or by social media, the habit of ignoring their constituency by lawmakers, once elected, have to pay the price. The times have changed.
