Save Yogimallavaram!

Heeding to the pleas of a Hans reader a few days ago through your columns on Yogimallavaram's worst road conditions, a pinch of cement mixed with ounce of gravel had been sprinkled on this lane, which was spine shattering at that time. Now, as it was not attended completely, it is a body shaking and an uneven circus ride.

This road is used by vehicles accorded with national and local permits with linking to some popular temples including Parasareswara Swampy and Goddess Padmavathi temples, apart from other TTD undertaken shrines. It is disgusting and deplorable to find that nobody, either the panchayat board or other organisations and authorities are really worried about the cause of this area.

Infrastructure particularly road conditions are turning worse from bad and now pathetic in Yogimallavaram Rural Panchayat. Adding chilli to the virus of one's nose, the pervading stink emanating from meat shops out of slaughtered chicken and residual waste, fried and boiled meat, is completely damaging the tranquillity and spirit of Tirupati and Tirumala.

The piled garbage is attended only often. Overall it is abysmal and disgusting to find the area getting isolated with pit and potholes, road digging, wet mud and waste mix, blind curves prone to ramming of vehicles and nauseating smell from meat shops. Authorities beyond local panchayat including TTD may please examine the area for betterment and survival of locals and non-local pilgrimage immediately on priority.
