TDP should introspect its fate
The reason expressed by film actress Divya Vani during the one-day workshop arranged by the TDP on Friday at Vijayawada with senior leaders to examining the reasons for the parties shock defeat in the recent elections is factual, acceptable and deserves applause (Meet vows to strengthen party::THI Jun 15).
As per our holy epic Ramayana Vibhishana had opposed his brother Ravana and openly expressed his displeasure against the latter's impure activity of kidnapping Sita and as per another holy epic Mahabharatha Vikarna warned his brothers that they would invite their own downfall by committing the sin of outraging Draupadi's modesty.
Both are best examples to validate what will happen if incorrect ways are not mended or good advices are not honoured.
The reason for TDP's debacle in recently held elections is nothing but the impure thoughts and proud nature of its supremo. N Chandrababu Naidu has always criticised Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy as a thief citing CBI cases but in contrast he has supported Mr.Suguna Chowdary, the man having the same allegations.
Further the vague comments of N Chandrababu Naidu made against Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding his murder attempt at airport, irresponsible comments made against the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy and defection of 23 MLAs and 3 MPs from YSRCP to TDP were also not accepted by common people.
If one observes the supremo of TDP has never blamed EVMs but after completion of elections on April 11 only he has blamed EVMs suspecting TDP's humiliating defeat.
If manipulation of EVMs, as suspected by N Chandrababu Naidu, is a reason for his party's debacle why TDP has conducted workshop to know the reasons for TDP's debacle? Chandrababu Naidu should mend his ways if he wants people's blessings.
The anger shown by people of AP against TDP due to its supremo's dual standard has made their MLAs to sit in opposition benches from treasury benches in assembly.
Hence the TDP leaders in Andhra Pradesh should stay cautious keeping people's awareness and in view of their party situation in Telangana where the TDP has become totally invisible.
