What else can we expect from BJP?

Update: 2019-04-20 21:52 IST

By nominating Pragya Singh Thakur, BJP has abandoned all pretence of being a modern, rational party willing to work in a democratic framework. But them, for a discerning and dispassionate mind, Sadhvi Pragya's induction into the saffron party and getting BJP ticket is not newsworthy of notice.

It is like saying in vernacular, "ye to hona hi tha" (The inevitable had to happen).

Do we not know sadly that the masses are represented in Parliament by over 30 per cent MPs who are facing cases of alleged corruption, murder and other heinous crimes? Yogi Adityanath, CM, was facing cases of inciting communal riots in UP and, now, all cases have vanished in thin air.

This scenario is prevalent in almost in all parties, when they come to power.

There is, therefore, no taunt in picking one tainted person or the other, as all are vying with each other in the shoddy game of politics drenched with corruption and crime.
