11th cultural meet of advocates cooperative celebrated
Baghlingampally: 'Advocates' Mutually Aided Cooperative Society' celebrated its 11th annual cultural meet on a grand note here at RTC Kalyana Mantapam on Sunday. Telangana High Court Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan, Justice Subash Reddy and others attended the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice Subash Reddy congratulated the society for its contributions towards advocates' welfare for last 20 years. He said that lawyers face a lot of professional stress and such cultural events can be of relief to them as they can spend time happily with their family members. Lauding the services of the society to its advocate members, he said that it would be of no surprise if the society can become a cooperative bank. No other state other than Telangana has advocates' society and the other states can take the society as role model to establish their own for their welfare, he said.
Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan congratulated the society for serving advocates for the last 20 years and conducting 11th cultural meet. He said that no other state has established such cooperative society and urged other states to form such cooperative societies in their courts. He also appreciated good relations between the Bench and Bar association.
Among those who participated in the program include city civil court judge C Sumalatha, metropolitan criminal court sessions judge M Tukaram, Rangareddy district court session judge Renuka, secretary of the cooperative society M Lalitha Reddy, president Papi Reddy, society members Gopal Reddy, Balwanth Reddy, P Saibabu, R Ashok and others.
