13 suspects detained; 24 vehicles seized

Kukatpally: Madhapur Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Venkateswara Rao said here on Monday that the police were conducting cordon and search operations keeping in view law and order.

Speaking after holding cordon and search operations involving 175 personnel in the fourth phase of Madhapur under Kukatpally police station limits, he called upon the residents to be alert during nights and to bring to his notice if they faced any threats from thieves, dacoits, rowdy elements or any issue causing hardship to them.

During the search, 13 suspects were detained and three autos besides 21 two-wheelers without proper documents were seized. Among those who participated in the programmes were Kukatpally ACP Surender Rao, CIs Lakshminarayana and Ramakrishna.
