263 get placements at job mela held by cops

LB Nagar: The Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has collaborated with the HYSE Placement Services to organise a job mela at Indu Tech company under Pahadisharif Police Station limits of LB Nagar zone on Sunday. As many as 540 candidates who undertook free pre-recruitment training of the Rachakonda police were selected.

In order to channel the trained candidates who could not get selected in the SLPRB recruitment, Rachakonda CP Mahesh M Bhagwat organised the job connect. G Sudheer Babu, Additional CP, inaugurated the job connect programme in which 35 companies like Tech Mahindra, Accenture, G4S, Byju Tutorials, SBI, Apollo Munich, Genpact participated.

As many as 1,011 candidates walked in and 263 candidates were given job offer letters and letters of intent through the hands of Bhagawat and Sunpreet Singh, DCP LB Nagar. They will be getting salaries ranging from Rs.13,000 Rs to 40,000.

Addressing the candidates, Bhagwat stated that those who had been selected should use the job as a launch pad and prepare for government and paramilitary jobs, Groups and Civil Services exams. He advised them to serve parents, family, society and the nation.

Sudheer Babu urged the candidates to avail themselves of the job connect programme, and channel the resources of youth for the country as 'good citizens'. Sunpreet Singh said more such programmes would be held.

Bhagwat appreciated HYSE Director Manish and his team for conducting the job mela. He said similar placement programmes would be conducted in Bhongir, Yadadri and Malkajigiri zones.
