32 tonnes of scrap collected on Day 3

Hyderabad: GHMC scrap collection drive is getting huge response from the citizens of Hyderabad. Residents are giving the scrap wastes to GHMC vehicles and reducing the wastes in their houses. Nearly 32 metric tons scrap collected on the third day of the drive. A total of 74.336 metric tons scrap is collected in the three days of the drive.

In the zone wise collection, 17.534 metric tons is collected only in Secunderabad zone only followed by LB Nagar with 7.146 metric tons. The rest of the zones are Serilingampally with 2.563 metric tons, Kukatpally with 1.342 metric tons, Khairatabad with 1.470 metric tons, Charminar with 1.952 metric tons.
