50 electric charging stations to come up in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is going to set up electric charging stations in 50 places across the city with the help of EESL.    

EESL Managing Director Sarath Kumar and GHMC chief engineer Suresh Kumar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of Mayor B Rammohan and Commissioner M Dana Kishore at GHMC head office here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, mayor said that state government introduced electric vehicles in the city to curb the air pollution and he said that EESL would set up the electric charging stations in 50 places across the city.
