54th Infantry Division displays its might

Secunderabad: On the occasion of Kargil Day, the 54th infantry Division displayed military equipment such as tanks, heavy guns, rifles, recovery vehicles and other advanced equipment at Parade Grounds on Friday. Kargil Day is celebrated on July 26 commemorating India's victory over Pakistan in Kargil war.

The army personnel who organised the show said that a two-day awareness program for NCC student was being held to explain them about different weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army. NCC students who visited the show said that they were pleased to get awareness on various military equipment.
