77th Electronics and Mechanical Engineers Corps Day celebrated

Secundrabad: The 1EME Centre celebrated its 77th Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) Corps Day at Secundrabad on Tuesday.

Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh, Commandant, MCEME and Senior Colonel Commandant, Corps of EME along with Brigadier Sandeep Bhalla, Commandant, 1EME Centre paid homage to martyrs of Corps of EME who laid down their lives to uphold the honour and pride of the country.

The occasion honoured the soldier craftsmen with a solemn pledge to the fallen brethren, that the corps will uphold their legacy and bring glory to the country. The ceremony was attended by serving and retired all ranks of the Eagles Fraternity and families.

A special Sainik Sammelan was also held at the centre. The Commandant addressed the gathering of over 2,000 all Ranks and civilian defence employees of the Centre, EME Records and EME Depot Battalion.
