A showcase of Marathi culture
Shilparamam in association with Mitraangan Maharashtrians of Hyderabad celebrate Marathi cultural festival on May 25 and 26 As a part of cultural exchange and to showcase Marathi language and culture to people of Telangana, Shilparamam is organising Marathi Cultural Festival in association with Mitraangan Maharashtrians of Hyderabad.
During these two days visitors will witness the richness of Marathi culture, where in people from Maharashtrian community from Hyderabad will present Maharashtrian food, crafts &entertainment. There will be more than 20 different food stalls offering Wada Pav, Misal pan, Sabudana Wada, Thalipeeth, Puranpoli, Dadpe Pohe and many more. In the crafts category there will be stitched Nauwari sarees & traditional Marathi jewellery.
As a part of entertainment people can enjoy traditional Maharashtrian Dhol Tasha performance by Mitraangan Dhol Pathak, traditional lavani dance, Mallakhamb, a traditional gymnastics form of art, Bharud, a folk form of Maharashtra & more. Prominent personalities from Maharashtrian Community &presidents of various Marathi institutions of Hyderabad will be present for the event.
