ABVP vows to oppose alienation of PJTSAU lands for HC
Hyderabad: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Sunday said that it will fight against laying foundation for the new State High Court building in Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University (PJTSAU) lands. The ABVP State universities convenor Jeevan in a statement on Sunday recalled that the parishad’s fight against GO 55 alienating 100 acres of PJTSAU for the building; it will continue.
He alleged that the State government and the agriculture university officials acted hand in glove to grab the varsity land using the police machinery. ‘The ABVP condemns the government for destroying 10 acres of medicinal plants using JCBs.
The government has deployed heavy police to take over the university lands. It threatening students with arrests and implicating them foisting false cases and sending them to jail’. He said the medicinal plants in the proposed site to construct the new building are being destroyed even without the HC Building Committee giving a green signal for shifting.
