agriculture officials asked to draft 5-year plan

Sangareddy: District Collector Hanumantha Rao has directed the officials of agriculture department and its allied branches like horticulture and animal husbandry to prepare a five-year plan keeping the future needs of farmers in mind. He was participating in a programme organised by ATMA (Agriculture Technology Management Agency) here on Thursday.

The Collector said that the farmers should be trained in modern technology and farming practices to make cultivation a profitable venture. Agriculture JD Narsinga Rao, DPD Jayadev, Horticulture Officer Sunitha and others were present.
