Akashwani staff urges Kishan for regularisation

Update: 2019-10-07 01:43 IST

Hyderabad: The Akashwani employees of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy on Sunday and submitted a representation about the regularisation scheme.

They told him that the scheme for regularisation of appointees, referred to in the Prasar Bharati circular dated September 5, 2019, was restricted to the cut-off year 2006. They urged the Union Minister to extend it to 2019.

"We have been paid very less for our service, which is in any way not sufficient for our livelihood. Even then, we are extending our extreme efforts for the organisation. So, we now request you to consider our service in this regularisation scheme," said the employees in the representation.
