All India Students Federation demands more fellowships for students

Tarnaka: All India Students Federation (AISF) staged protest in Tarnaka on Tuesday stating that it's not fair on the part of University Grants Commission (UGC) to provide only 31 fellowships to students of Osmania University. Police took the activists into custody while they tried to burn the effigy of central government.

AISF Hyderabad Vice President M Prem demanded notifications for RGNF( Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship) and OBC fellowships twice every year. He also demanded increase of fellowship slots for Telangana state. Student leaders Vamsi, Satya, Harish, Kishore, Sumanth, Madhu, Shankar, Shekar and others were present.
