Anti-mosquito drive gathers momentum

Serilingampally: Serilingampally division corporator Nagendar Yadav released Gambushia fishes and mosquito larva oil into Gopi lake in the division on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagendar Yadav said, " We are taking every precaution to reduce the growth of the mosquitoes. MLO oil will form a layer on the lake and avoid mosquitoes to take oxygen where as Gambushia fishes eats larva as their food which reduces mosquitoes growth."

Ward member Parvin, Baddam Kondal Reddy, Krishna, Vijaya Lakshmi, Entomology AE Kiran and staff participated in the programme.
