Auto drivers urged to join Million March
Hyderabad: Telangana Auto Drivers JAC (TADJAC) has appealed to its members to participate in Saturday's 'Chalo Tank Bund Million March' called by the TSRTC employees uacznions' JAC.
Addressing media persons here on Friday, TADJAC convener Mohammed Amanullah Khan criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's call to the RTC workers to keep away from their unions.
Amanullah also said they would confer "RTC Karmika Porata Ratna" title on Aswathama Reddy, the RTC JAC chairman, for his efforts to save the RTC workers and the corporation.
Earlier, Amanullah Khan demanded that the government transfer RTO West Zone CP Venkateshwar Rao for his "corrupt practices" and "work delay" tactics and said the auto drivers would be forced to hold protest dharnas shortly.
TADJAC leaders Laxmi Narsaiah, Hamed Ansari, Mohd Dastagir, Vamshi Krishna, Mohd Rafiq, Mohd Azeemuddin, Mohd Lateel, Shaik Raheem, Mohd Jafer and Thakur Jay Singh were also present. (NSS)
