Awareness drive held on cleanliness

Serilingampally: Corporator Lakshmi Bai who was the chief guest at the 'Saaf Hyderabad-Shaandaar Hyderabad' programme at Jalavayuvihar committee hall on Monday said that SRP Nageswar Naik, SFA and CRP women were playing a key role in garbage segregation, implementing ban on plastic items and Swachh programmes, like keeping surroundings of houses clean.

She said SRP, SFA and CRP should focus special attention on preventing wastage of water and dumping of garbage on roads, besides construction of rain harvesting structures.

Among those present were officials of HMWSSB, GHMC Kukatpally Zonal Commissioner Shankarayya, Deputy Commissioner Ashok Samrat, EE Sridhar, Water Works GM Venugopal, DGM Nagaraju, Manager Venkateswarlu, Health Officer Chandrasekhar, Electrical AE Srinivas.
