Awareness drive on Overseas Vidya Nidhi

Osmania University: An awareness programme on Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi was held at PGRRCDE auditorium in Osmania University on Thursday. SC/ST Cell Director Prof Gali Vinod Kumar presided over the programme. OU Registrar Prof Gopala Reddy, Technology Principal Shyam Sundar were the chief guests.

Gopala Reddy said the scheme would provide Rs 20 lakh towards overseas education for SC/ST students. It would also provide GRE, GMAT and IELTS coaching for the students. Prof Vinod said the scheme by State government had been availed by 1,200 students.
