Awareness drive on water conservation

Gandhi Nagar: The founder chairman of Lakshya Sadhana Foundation, Pragna Raja, said that survival of humankind depends on water conservation. He was speaking at the awareness programme on water conservation organised by the chairman of Save Vijay Ram near Indira Park on Monday.

The programme was attended by 20 students of Lakshya Sadhanan Foundation. Vijaya Ram explained the students about the importance of percolation pits in water harvesting, preparation of pollution-free paper bags and seed ball preparation methods.

Speaking on the occasion, Pragna Raj said that the students of the foundation were being sent to several awareness camps to gain knowledge on various social topics. The ultimate goal of the foundation is to prepare the students to become IAS and IPS officers, he said. Bade Saab, Tukaram and students participated in the awareness camp.
