Awareness session on cybercrimes held

Hyderguda: Twenty students from various city colleges, who excelled in the contest held on cybercrimes, would receive training from cyber security expert Rakshith Tandaon at Hyderabad Police Commissioner's office, said CP Anjani Kumar at the inauguration of the session here on Monday.

The selected students would create awareness on cybercrimes among students and explain them ways to prevent it on completion of their training. He said that the police had taken up several programmes to prevent cybercrimes and has designed Cyber Smart awareness programme for youth.

He emphasised on the need for youth to be aware of cybercrimes through emails, mobile phones, social media such as Facebook and other online cheating modes.
