Ayacut farmers meet MLA Rohit Reddy on surplus water

Tandur: Ayacut farmers have urged Tandur MLA Rohit Reddy to take steps to divert the surplus water of Kagna River to Juntupalli project in Yalal mandal. The farmers of Juntupalli village met with the MLA at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

They explained to the MLA that the diversion would be useful for them and can cultivate more crops if project is filled with the Kagna water. Responding positively, the MLA consulted the officials about the possibilities and directed to divert the surplus water.
