B B Singh new Additional General Manager for South Central Railway

Secunderabad: Birendra Bahadur Singh took over charge as Additional General Manager, South Central Railway on Thursday. He belongs to 1982 batch of Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE). Prior to his new posting, he was serving as Additional General Manager, South Western Railway. Singh holds Masters in Power System from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

He also completed Masters in Business Administration. He started his career on Indian Railways in 1984 and in over three decades of service, has held several important assignments on Northern, South Central, East Central and South Western Railways, besides the Chittranjan Locomotive Works. He also served in the Railway Board and on deputation to the Union Ministry of Urban Development.
