Bad roads in Kondapur
Kondapur: Residents of Botanical Garden Street in Kondapur are demanding new roads. Due to the negligence of governance, roads are not laid properly and residents have to suffer a lot. Around 200 families are residing in the area and the way to India's largest mall has bad roads.
The uneven stretch is creating big trouble to the commuters every time. This is the only road witnessing a huge amount of traffic flow towards main roads and other routes. Many people fall off vehicles due to potholes.
Numerous minor accidents have occurred on this road in the past. Two-wheeler riders are the worst affected. Adding to the bad condition of the roads, poor illumination on this stretch at nights is another problem that people need to face, the stretch is nothing but a heap of concrete and broken debris.
"Motorcyclists can be seen applying brakes suddenly due to fully occupied potholes at these troublesome roads and being affected with injuries," rue commuters. "This stretch is not only affecting motorists but also Pedestrians face immense hardships to walk by it," says Trilok.
Swaran, a shopkeeper, said they had complained about this issue to the concerned officials, but it went vain. The locals of this area say, it is very difficult to travel on these roads and we are extremely facing inconveniences since months.
