Balayya celebrates birthday with children at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital
Hyderabad : Actor, MLA and chairman of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital (BIACH) Nandamuri Balakrishna celebrated his 59th birthday amidst children fighting with cancer on the premises of the hospital at Banjara Hills.
Balakrishna paid homage to his father TDP founder and former Chief Minister late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and his mother late Nandamuri Basavatarakam by garlanding their statues. Later, he cut a cake organized by his fans, along with children fighting with cancer in the hospital.
He shared the cake with the children and others. Speaking on the occasion, the actor appreciated the efforts of his fans that were standing in the fore to help the society by organizing several social service activities. He also announced that a new facility would come up at Amaravati in 15 acres allotted by the Andhra Pradesh Government. Later, he distributed fruit to children, along with hospital employees.
Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI, Dr Subramanyeswara Rao, medical director, G. Ravi Kumar, COO, Dr Kalpana Raghunath, Dr Koteswara Rao, Dr Sumathi, AO, and other staff members were present on the occasion.
