BCs seek quota bill

Musheerabad: BC Welfare Association president Guggu Krishna on Monday submitted a memorandum to Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy seeking reservation for BCs.

Krishna sought introduction of bill in parliament to implement 50% reservation for BCs in political positions. He also sought promotion for employees belonging to the community. The association members felicitated Kishan Reddy with a shawl.

Kishan Reddy assured that he would take their demands to the notice of the central government. Bupesh Sagar, Telangana BC welfare Association general secretary Nanda Gopal, V Srinivas Reddy, Sandeep Reddy, Venkat and others were present.
