Better facilities sought at Malkajgiri railway station

Malkajgiri: MLC Ramachandra Rao met South Central Railway GM Gajanan Mallya and submitted a letter, requesting him to provide better facilities at Malkajgiri railway station, such as escalator and lift in view of growing population.

The SCR GM was also urged to take measures to stop all trains at the station. The MLA also requested that the new railway station at Vajpayee Nagar be named 'Vajpayee Railway station' as per the wishes of colony residents.

MLC said that he had also discussed other issues related to Malkajgiri railway station with the GM. MLC Ramchandra Rao was accompanied by local leaders Sriramani, RK Srinivas, Babu Singh, Ramakrishna, Suresh Yadav and others.
