BJP holds protest over results fiasco

Parigi: BJP activists staged protest against the failure of Intermediate Board here on Thursday. Responding to the state-wide bandh call given by the party, activists of the town tried to organise a rally. Police took them into custody and shifted them to police station.
As many as 13 activists including mandal president Pentaiah Gupta, BJYM district secretary Harikrishna Yadav were taken into custody. Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said the state government should be held responsible for the irregularities of the Intermediate Board. They demanded a compensation of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of students who committed suicide.
