BJP leaders organise membership drive

Musheerabad: BJP state executive member and minority leader Imran Hussain organised BJP membership drive programme in Bholakpur division on Friday. BJP state President Dr K Lakshman and BJP city president, MLC M Ramchander Rao attended the programme as chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr K Lakshman said that Parliament elections have proved that people believed that BJP strives for the welfare of all the sections of the society. He said that the party does not favour any specific religion or caste but strives to bring all round development of the nation and welfare of all sections of society.

Explaining about various schemes initiated by the Modi government, he said Ujwala scheme for cooking gas cylinders, Mudra scheme for loans to small businessmen, BhetiPadao, Bhetibachavo for girl education and other schemes have been initiated for welfare of poor and middle classes. Recalling the tragedy in which 14 people were killed at Bholakpur due to water contamination, he said it is high time the government looks to address the issue.

He said that he has constructed Setwin building which helped several youths of the constituency to get skill training and employment. BJP government has helped several minority students to pursue their education abroad by providing financial assistance.
