BJP reviews steps for Jan Jagaran meet

Madhapur: The Core Committee meeting of Serilingampally BJP constituency was held here on Thursday, in the presence of party leaders former MLA NVSS Prabhakar, BJP State 'sanghatan' secretary M Srinivas and Ranga Reddy district unit president Bokka Narsimha Reddy.

The leaders discussed the arrangements for holding of 'Jan Jagaran' meeting on Article 370 on September 21 at 4.30 pm at Sandhya Convention Hall, Gachibowli, to be attended by intellectuals. They resolved to invite educationists, doctors, advocates, industrialists and leaders of various associations to the meeting.

Later, the leaders told the media that the party activists would interact with intellectuals from each division so as to ensure their presence at the meeting. They stated that Union Minister for Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy would be the chief guests. Among those attending the meeting would be former DGP of Jammu and Kashmir K Rajendra Kumar and Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman.

Among the leaders who attended the core committee meeting were State leaders Janardhan Reddy, Yoganand, Bheem Rao, Butchi Reddy, Naresh, Prabhakar Yadav, Jnanendra Prasad, Ashok, district leaders Vasanth Kumar Yadav, Mahipal Reddy, Govardhan Goud, Serilingampally leaders Satyanarayana, Veera Chary, Venkat, Varaprasad, BJYM leader Narender Reddy, Arun Kumar, Harikrishna and Jithender.
