BJP would form next govt in T, says city wing leader

Secunderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party Greater Hyderabad vice-president Bandapally Satish said that the Telangana State can be developed only by the BJP and exuded confidence that that the party would form the next government in the State. He was speaking at the party membership drive at Sitaphalmandi division, which was organised by senior leader Prabhu Gupta on Tuesday.

In his address, Satish, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that the BJP party membership would exceed 20 crores and this would be a world record. He said that the people from different religions, castes and groups were coming forward to take the party membership voluntarily. The new party members include newly enrolled youth, workers and others, he said.

The BJP leader said that Prime Minister Modi received good support from the State as the party received more than 20 per cent of votes in the recently held Parliamentary elections. He urged the party cadre to strive to strengthen the party in the State and ensure that it comes to power in the next assembly elections.

Criticising the ruling TRS government, Satish said that the government has failed to provide basic infrastructure in the constituency and could not fulfil several promises it made to the voters of constituency.

BJP leaders Ravi Prasad Goud, Venkatesh Goud, Nageshwar Reddy, Kanakatla Hari, Krishnamurthy, Sardar and others were present on the occasion.
